After stirring conversations across social media with her outspoken posts about the Church, former Catholic sister Shako Annastacia is once again in the spotlight — this time, for matters of the heart.

The ex-nun, known for her fearless criticism of certain priests’ treatment of sisters, has now revealed that she’s ready to love again and isn’t afraid to say exactly what kind of man she’s looking for.

“I Want a Partner With the Heart of Christ”

In a recent Facebook post that’s since gone viral, Annastacia opened up about her vision of a true partner — not through wealth or looks, but through faith and character.

“I’m looking for someone with the heart of Christ — patient, kind, and true,” she wrote.
“I want a partner who can pray louder than they argue, who can turn water into wisdom, not just words into noise.”

She went on to describe a man who can “love without proof, forgive without conditions, and serve quietly without seeking applause.”

Her message resonated with many followers, particularly those who admired her vulnerability and courage to start anew after leaving religious life.

Finding Peace After Controversy

Annastacia’s name first made headlines after she was reportedly dismissed from her convent for criticizing priests who, she claimed, mistreated or objectified sisters.
While the Church never publicly confirmed the reason for her dismissal, her outspoken posts gained wide attention and mixed reactions.

Now, months later, her tone has shifted from confrontation to contemplation — from calling out injustice to calling in love.

“Someone who won’t disappear when things get tough,” she added.
“Who can stay, pray, and grow through every season. They should be able to carry a cross, not just carry a phone.”

“Love Deeply, Speak Gently, Forgive Quickly”

For Annastacia, love isn’t about perfection, but grace. Her ideal man, she says, should “love deeply, speak gently, and forgive quickly.”

She even left a playful note for interested suitors:

“If I’m to be a bride or groom, I don’t need a boss. I need a partner with a Christ-like heart, steady in faith, rich in love, and rooted in peace.”

Fans React: “Where Can We Apply?”

As expected, her post drew hundreds of comments from followers — some serious, others teasing.

George Ibila Igyu Haaga wrote:

“I can’t even date an ex-reverend sister, let alone marry her. I’m badly in need of a baddie.”

Eddy Mensah joked:

“My only problem is you’re a Chelsea fan and I’m an Arsenal fan.”

Others, however, praised her sincerity.
Onyemelukwe Uchechukwu commented:

“Whatever you want in marriage begins with you.”

A New Chapter of Faith and Freedom

Annastacia’s story reflects a rare blend of faith, courage, and honesty. Her decision to speak openly about love after religious life has made her a symbol of spiritual evolution — someone unafraid to redefine devotion on her own terms.

While the world debates whether she’s right or wrong, Shako Annastacia seems unbothered — she’s already looking forward, trusting that the right man will arrive in God’s time.

“Love deeply,” she says. “Because if it isn’t rooted in Christ, it won’t last.”
