Chris Evans and wife Alba Bap­tista’s name has been revealed.

The Mar­vel alum, 44, and the Bor­der­lineactress, 28, wel­comed their first baby togeth­er on Fri­day, Oct. 24, in Mass­a­chu­setts, nam­ing the lit­tle one Alma Grace Bap­tista Evans, a source con­firms

“They’re enjoy­ing their pri­va­cy and these spe­cial first few days as a fam­i­ly with their baby,” shares the insid­er.

The cou­ple were first linked togeth­er in Jan­u­ary 2022 and offi­cial­ly tied the knot in Sep­tem­ber 2023.

Evans and Bap­tista have main­ly kept their rela­tion­ship pri­vate. A source con­firmed to PEOPLE that they had been dat­ing “for over a year” in Novem­ber 2022

“That’s absolute­ly some­thing I want: wife, kids, build­ing a fam­i­ly,” Evans said.

“When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writ­ers, most of them [admit] it was­n’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the rela­tion­ships; the fam­i­lies they cre­at­ed, the love they found, the love they shared,” added Evans.

A pri­or source con­firmed that desire, reveal­ing to PEOPLE that Evans “got seri­ous very quick­ly” after meet­ing the actress for the first time in Europe. “He kept say­ing he knew she was the one.”

“He has been ready to set­tle down for a while,” the insid­er added. “He can’t wait to have a fam­i­ly. He was just wait­ing for the right girl.”

Speak­ing with Access Hol­ly­wood at the pre­miere of his movie Red One in Novem­ber 2024, the actor was asked if he thinks he’ll be a “super­hero” dad one day, like his costar Dwayne John­son’s char­ac­ter.

“Yeah, I hope so. Yeah, absolute­ly,” Evans respond­ed. “The title of dad is an excit­ing one.”
