A viral Tik­Tok video cap­tured the tense moment as Bey­once, wear­ing a har­ness, gripped one of the car’s cables and said, “Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop,” into her micro­phone. The music cut out imme­di­ate­ly.

Still sus­pend­ed, she scanned the scene, smiled reas­sur­ing­ly at fans, and told the crowd, “Thank y’all for your patience.” She was then slow­ly low­ered back to the stage.

After being low­ered, the singer briefly left the stage but returned short­ly after to fin­ish the set. It was lat­er con­firmed that the per­for­mance con­tin­ued with­out fur­ther inci­dent, Hot New Hip Hop report­ed.

Lat­er, in a video post­ed to X (for­mer­ly Twit­ter), Bey­once was seen address­ing the crowd after resum­ing the show. “If ever I fall, I know y’all would catch me,” she said, receiv­ing thun­der­ous applause in response.

After the show, Bey­on­ce’s team released a state­ment address­ing the inci­dent. “Tonight in Hous­ton, at NRG Sta­di­um, a tech­ni­cal mishap caused the fly­ing car, a prop Bey­once uses to cir­cle the sta­di­um, and see her fans up close, to tilt. She was quick­ly low­ered and no one was injured. The show con­tin­ued with­out inci­dent,” Park­wood Enter­tain­ment said.

The inci­dent sparked a flur­ry of wor­ried and con­cerned reac­tions on X (for­mer­ly Twit­ter) after a video of the moment was shared by an account.

One X user wrote, “I think we were all scared for her and the many peo­ple that could’ve been lost or seri­ous­ly injured,” while anoth­er said, “She was so ner­vous despite try­ing to put on a brave face and smil­ing through it for her wor­ried fans.”

A per­son remarked, “This is scary asf i hope she is fine we cant lost a gen­er­a­tion tal­ent,” while some­one else added, “My heart skipped a beat when she said stop stop stop. So hap­py they got her down with­out inci­dent and she was able to close the show. She joked, ‘I knew yall would catch me if I fell.’ But I know she was not pleased.”
