Debunked: ‘The Simpsons’ Never Showed Charlie Kirk’s Death

A photo of Charlie Kirk being shot at a UVU Turning Point USA event was turned into a Simpsons character and claimed as a prediction of his death

On September 10, 2025, Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at a TPUSA public debate event on the Utah Valley University campus

WASHINGTON, DC: ‘The Simpsons’ is popular for predicting many well-known historical moments of the United States, years before they actually happen.

However, events are often mistakenly claimed to have been predicted by ‘The Simpsons’, going viral even when no such prediction actually occurred.

Recently, a rumor circulated online claiming that ‘The Simpsons’ predicted conservative icon Charlie Kirk’s death before it actually happened on September 10. But is there any truth to this? Let us find out below.

Claim: ‘The Simpsons’ predicted Charlie Kirk’s death

Last week, a photo of the moment Charlie Kirk was shot dead while speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Utah was rendered into a ‘The Simpsons’ character, and was spread, claiming that the series had predicted it.

An X user shared the pictures and wrote, “The life and legacy of Charlie Kirk have taken a cruel twist — whispers are spreading that his tragic story has been turned into an unreleased Simpsons episode, reduced to a cartoon satire for cheap laughs.”

“What was once a real man’s struggle and sacrifice is now rumored to be mocked on screen, leaving many shocked at how low some will go to turn pain into parody,” the post added.

Another X post seemed to make a similar claim that Kirk’s death was predicted by ‘The Simpsons’.

False: The image shared on X is AI-generated

The claims made in the online rumor are false, as the pictures that have been circulated across social media are AI-generated and ‘The Simpsons’ did not predict Kirk’s death.

A community note on X read, “The Simpsons did not predict the shooting of Charlie Kirk. The image on the left, done in the Simpsons style, has multiple characters in the background that are missing facial features, a common issue with AI-generated images.”

Moreover, searches on search engines, such as Google, or even on YouTube, showed no such episode of ‘The Simpsons’ where they predicted the conservative icon’s tragic killing.

‘The Simpsons’ has surprisingly mirrored real events over the years. It predicted Cypress Hill performing with the London Symphony Orchestra in 2024 way back in 1996

Similarly, Lisa Simpson’s 2000 outfit resembled Kamala Harris’ 2021 inauguration look.

Expert claims Charlie Kirk’s killer had more fear of his father than the crime he committed

World-renowned communication and body language expert Dr Lillian Glass told the Daily Mail that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old man who shot Charlie Kirk, his last messages to his partner revealed a man detached from the gravity of his crime.

Glass told the outlet, “He certainly has revealed himself. He shows he was concerned more about his father’s reaction to losing the gun than taking someone’s life. His biggest fear is his father’s wrath.”

Moreover, Robinson worried about the fate of the rifle, fitted with a $2,000 scope, and about what he would tell his father if he failed to return it.

“How will I explain losing it to my old man…,” Robinson wrote.

“Robinson’s response indicated that he is living in a delusion and actually thinks he is going to get away with what he has just done,” Dr Glass said.
