Hollywood Legends Sam Elliott and Katharine Ross Step Out Together at 85

Kather­ine Ross starred in one of the most pop­u­lar love tri­an­gle movies in Hol­ly­wood. But Katharine Ross was more than just the qui­et girl in The Grad­u­ate; she was the Hol­ly­wood “it girl” in the ’60s and ’70s. How­ev­er, after she became a house­hold name, she chose a qui­eter life away from the spot­light.

Now 85, Ross rarely makes pub­lic appear­ances. But this week, she was seen enjoy­ing lunch with her hus­band, actor Sam Elliott, in Mal­ibu. The sight­ing was a sur­prise for fans who haven’t seen the actress in years.

The pho­tos tak­en by the Dai­ly Mail show Ross look­ing calm and cheer­ful as she dined with Elliott, 80, and a female friend at Café Habana. The café is owned by Rande Ger­ber, hus­band of mod­el Cindy Craw­ford, and is known for its styl­ish yet casu­al vibe.

Ross wore a light sage jack­et that matched her hus­band‘s sweater, along with blue jeans, a cream scarf, and sneak­ers. She looked com­fort­able and relaxed, smil­ing as they walked out of the restau­rant after their hour-long lunch.
