Kim KarÂdashiÂan is headÂing to ‑owned streamÂing serÂvice acquirÂing the U.S. rights to Kardashian’s docuseries ElizÂaÂbeth TayÂlor: Rebel SuperÂstar
The series, which chronÂiÂcles the life and career of one of the 20th century’s most recÂogÂnizÂable figÂures, includes the first-ever filmed interÂview with Taylor’s son, Chris WildÂing, alongÂside interÂviews with Dame Joan Collins, Sharon Stone and Paris JackÂson. KarÂdashiÂan, who conÂductÂed Taylor’s final interÂview in 2011, also appears in the series.
Rebel SuperÂstar is proÂduced by KarÂdashiÂan and PasÂsion PicÂtures and disÂtribÂuted interÂnaÂtionÂalÂly by FreÂmanÂtle. It debuted on the BBC last year.
The serÂvice picked up a YelÂlowÂstone docÂuÂmenÂtary from Kevin CostÂner, a docuÂdÂraÂma from MarÂtin ScorsÂese called The Saints and a true-crime series led by 50 Cent.
But it also acquired rights to a wrestling proÂmoÂtion from the late Hulk Hogan; and inked a deal with TKO for rights to ProÂfesÂsionÂal Bull RidÂers live events.
ElizÂaÂbeth TayÂlor may not be true crime or bull ridÂing, but the goldÂen age of HolÂlyÂwood may resÂonate with some subÂscribers, with the platÂform also hostÂing some clasÂsic movies.
