Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson Caught on Hot Mic Slamming Employees While Filming Show: “Can’t Do S—”

It seems even legendary coaches can get caught off guard when the mics are still on.

A newly leaked video has surfaced featuring North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, where the pair can be heard making unflattering remarks about staff members on the set of Belichick’s now-defunct show Coach.

The audio, released by Pablo Torre on his Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast, captures the couple discussing the production team during what appeared to be a behind-the-scenes meeting.

“I don’t know how they have four full-time graphics people,” Hudson, 24, says in the clip.

“They can’t do s—,” Belichick, 73, bluntly replies — earning an immediate “Right?” from Hudson.

The comments reportedly took place last year while Coach was still in production. The show featured Belichick alongside fellow NFL veterans Matt Patricia (now Ohio State’s defensive coordinator) and Michael Lombardi, UNC football’s general manager. Together, they broke down NFL plays and offered commentary — until the series was quietly discontinued.

In the leaked exchange, Hudson — a former college cheerleader who has become a regular fixture on the sidelines at UNC games — can be seen leaning in beside Belichick, critiquing the team’s work on-screen graphics. She even claimed she could do the job herself “in five minutes” and joked about being paid “two grand” to fix it.

At one point, she laughed, calling it a “how many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb” situation.

According to Torre, Hudson’s involvement behind the scenes reportedly surprised many on the production staff, who didn’t expect her to play such an active role in the creative process.

Belichick, known for his no-nonsense demeanor during his decades with the New England Patriots, hasn’t publicly commented on the leaked footage. PEOPLE magazine has reached out to both Belichick and Hudson for a response.

The leak comes just days after Belichick faced a storm of rumors regarding his coaching future at UNC. Following three consecutive blowout losses and a rocky 2–3 start to the season, reports suggested that the university was exploring a potential buyout of his contract.

But the eight-time Super Bowl winner shut that speculation down earlier this week.

“Some of the reports out last week about my looking for a buyout and trying to leave here and all that is categorically false,” Belichick said during Monday’s press conference. “Glad I’m here. Working toward our goals and the process.”

For now, the controversy over the Coach hot mic moment adds yet another headline to an already turbulent season for Belichick — a man who’s built a career preaching discipline, but who may now be learning a classic lesson himself: in the modern era, the microphones are always on.
