Mom wants daughter with rare birthmark to know she’s beautiful

Every per­son is unique­ly spe­cial and beau­ti­ful in their own way. Nicole Lucas Hall­son is a moth­er rais­ing two won­der­ful chil­dren, Ash­er and Win­ry. But beyond that, she is on a heart­felt mis­sion to prove that our imper­fec­tions make us per­fect. Her daugh­ter Win­ry was born with a rare birth­mark called con­gen­i­tal melanocyt­ic nevi (CMN), which cov­ers about a quar­ter of her face.

When Win­ry was born, Nicole was shocked and wor­ried. She ini­tial­ly thought the mark was a bruise, but doc­tors con­firmed it was a rare birth­mark. Though it made Win­ry look dif­fer­ent from oth­er chil­dren, Nicole quick­ly grew to love and cel­e­brate her daughter’s unique­ness
