Prince Harry fears for his children’s safety as he ‘regrets’ leaving UK for California: ‘Huge mistake’

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Har­ry is report­ed­ly begin­ning to doubt his deci­sion to move to the US, and now regrets what he sees as a “huge mis­take” in leav­ing the roy­al fam­i­ly and the UK.x

The Duke of Sus­sex left Lon­don in 2020 with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie, set­tling in Mon­tecito, Cal­i­for­nia.

He is now also the father of Princess Lili­bet, born in June 2021.

While Har­ry is report­ed­ly con­cerned for his children’s safe­ty, Meghan marked Father’s Day by post­ing nev­er-before-seen footage of Har­ry with their kids.

Anoth­er insid­er said, “He can’t believe the post went up dur­ing one of the most vio­lent week­ends in recent his­to­ry, one that even required the US Marines to inter­vene just to show Archie and Lilibet’s faces online for the first time.”

“It was a Father’s Day gift from Meghan, but he’s stunned she put the fam­i­ly at risk by doing the film­ing. He knows she means well, but her tim­ing could­n’t be worse. Some say the only way he can see to keep his fam­i­ly safe is to get away from LA,” they added.

This comes after the 40-year-old roy­al fought a legal bat­tle in the UK courts seek­ing pub­licly fund­ed police pro­tec­tion dur­ing vis­its to Britain.

As per his legal rep­re­sen­ta­tive, “The UK will always be Prince Har­ry’s home and a coun­try he wants his wife and chil­dren to be safe in. With the lack of police pro­tec­tion comes too great a per­son­al risk.”

Prince Harry won’t take his family to UK amid security concerns

“In the absence of such pro­tec­tion, Prince Har­ry and his fam­i­ly are unable to return to his home,” his legal team not­ed.

How­ev­er, after los­ing the case, Har­ry report­ed­ly said I can’t see a world in which I would bring my wife and chil­dren back to the UK at this point.”
