LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: The roy­al fam­i­ly is all smiles as they mark a tri­umphant Troop­ing the Colour cel­e­bra­tion — and all eyes were on Kate Mid­dle­ton and Princess Char­lotte, who made a stun­ning entrance in roy­al style!

The Princess of Wales, 43, and Princess Char­lotte, 10, turned heads in match­ing aqua­ma­rine out­fits as they joined the British roy­al fam­i­ly for the cel­e­bra­tion on Sat­ur­day, June 14 — an annu­al event hon­or­ing King Charles’ birth­day, who turns 77 this Novem­ber, with a grand mil­i­tary parade.

Break­ing from her usu­al sib­ling coor­di­na­tion, Princess Char­lotte embraced a fash­ion-for­ward moment by twin­ning with her moth­er, echo­ing the Princess of Wales’ ele­gant style.

Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte showcase their mother-daughter style

Princess Char­lotte was the pic­ture-per­fect mini-me of Kate Mid­dle­ton as the moth­er-daugh­ter duo daz­zled in match­ing aqua­ma­rine shades at this year’s Troop­ing the Colour cel­e­bra­tion.

In a charm­ing Insta­gram post from the Duke and Duchess of Wales’ offi­cial account, Prince WilliamKate Mid­dle­ton, and their three chil­dren — Prince George, Princess Char­lotte, and Prince Louis — are seen pos­ing togeth­er for an impromp­tu fam­i­ly por­trait.

“Anoth­er bril­liant day at Troop­ing the Colour for His Majesty’s Birth­day Parade,” the Duke and Duchess of Wales cap­tioned their Insta­gram post. “Thank you to every­body who came, and to all those who took part.”

The pho­to cap­tures the Wales fam­i­ly of five beam­ing togeth­er in per­fect­ly colour-coor­di­nat­ed out­fits, seem­ing­ly posed on a stair­case out­side Buck­ing­ham Palace.

Princess Char­lotte mir­rored her moth­er in a charm­ing aqua dress. At the same time, Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 7, looked sharp in suits with red ties—matching Prince William’s red mil­i­tary uni­form, which fea­tured a leek emblem at the neck­line. Mid­dle­ton and Char­lotte show­cased flaw­less moth­er-daugh­ter coor­di­na­tion, with the Princess of Wales ground­ing her ele­gant aqua­ma­rine look in nude point­ed-toe pumps.

Echo­ing her mother’s style, Char­lotte wore a light aqua dress with a crisp white bow at the waist, per­fect­ly com­ple­ment­ed by a match­ing rib­bon in her sig­na­ture braid­ed half-up, half-down hair­style. She com­plet­ed the look with clas­sic white bal­let flats, mir­ror­ing her mom’s time­less sense of style.

Kate Middleton, Prince William and children gracefully attend King Charles’ birthday parade

The Wales fam­i­ly joined King Charles III and Queen Camil­la for the annu­al Troop­ing the Colour parade in Lon­don, cel­e­brat­ing the monar­ch’s offi­cial birth­day. Although King Charles was born on Novem­ber 14, his birth­day is for­mal­ly marked each year in June with this grand dis­play of mil­i­tary tra­di­tion, 2025 mark­ing his third Troop­ing the Colour as reign­ing sov­er­eign.

After arriv­ing at Buck­ing­ham Palace by car, Princess Kate and her three children—Prince George, Princess Char­lotte, and Prince Louis —made their way down The Mall in a tra­di­tion­al horse-drawn car­riage. Char­lotte sat beside her moth­er, while her broth­ers faced them from the oppo­site seat.

Prince William took part in the parade on horse­back, rid­ing Darby—a horse gift­ed to Queen Eliz­a­beth II by the Roy­al Cana­di­an Mount­ed Police. As Colonel of the Welsh Guards, he donned their cer­e­mo­ni­al attire and wore a black arm­band in trib­ute to the vic­tims of the recent Air India dis­as­ter.

The event fea­tured more than 1,300 sol­diers and 300 musi­cians, accord­ing to the British Army, high­light­ing the grandeur and pre­ci­sion of the occa­sion. The cel­e­bra­tion con­clud­ed with a mil­i­tary fly­past over Buck­ing­ham Palace, which the roy­al fam­i­ly viewed togeth­er from the icon­ic palace bal­cony, with King Charles seen wav­ing to the crowds below.

The 2024 Troop­ing the Colour held spe­cial sig­nif­i­cance for both King Charles III and Princess Kate, as it marked their return to pub­lic life fol­low­ing their respec­tive can­cer announce­ments ear­li­er in that year.

Buck­ing­ham Palace revealed King Charles’ can­cer diag­no­sis in Feb­ru­ary 2024, though details regard­ing the type, stage, and treat­ment were not dis­closed.
