Tom Brady Fans Say His Teenage Son Is ‘So Much More Good Looking’ Than His Dad & Has His Mother Bridget Moynahan’s ‘Smile’

Tom Brady has always been open about how fatherhood has shaped him, often giving fans a glimpse into his children’s lives. He frequently reflects on their personalities, milestones, and aspirations—especially those of his eldest son, John Edward Thomas “Jack” Moynahan.

In a November 2024 conversation with Harvard Business School professor Nitin Nohria for Fortune magazine, Brady revealed Jack’s growing interest in basketball.

“I have a son who’s 6’5 and wants to play basketball,” Brady shared, joking that his son’s vertical jump is “unfortunately” about the same as his own. He encouraged Jack with a playful pep talk: “Dude, you’re going to be a stud. Wait till you hit your growth spurt—you’ll be jumping higher, you’ll be dunking.”

Still, Brady stressed that success in sports isn’t what matters most. “Whether he does or not, who cares? I just want him to know his dad’s got his back,” he said.

That sentiment echoes what Brady told ESPN in 2023: that his hope is simply for Jack to pursue something he loves—whether or not it’s football. “I wouldn’t choose for him to do that because there’s too many crazy expectations … most of them probably very unfair,” he admitted.

In another 2023 interview with Today, Brady reflected on the unique challenges his children face. “There are a lot of expectations because of who their mom or dad is, and it’s not necessarily fair to them because they didn’t choose that,” he said.

Courtside Moment Sparks Buzz

On Nov. 15, 2024, Brady and Jack were spotted courtside at the Emirates NBA Cup game in New York City. Their appearance at Madison Square Garden quickly drew attention online, especially after Brady posted a smiling photo with his son on Instagram Stories, captioned: “The luckiest Dad in the world ❤️❤️❤️.”

Fans couldn’t help but comment on Jack’s looks. Some noted he strongly resembles his mother, actress Bridget Moynahan. Others said he looked more like late actor Patrick Swayze—or even compared him to New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye.

While some insisted Jack was “so much more good looking” than his dad, others praised Brady’s bond with his son: “Amazing dad TB12, the best QB in football. Good luck, Jack—God bless you both ❤️🤍💙.”

Jack in the Spotlight

This wasn’t the first time Brady showcased his son online. In October, he shared a family photo of Jack with his younger brother, Benjamin, sparking comments about Jack’s striking resemblance to Brady’s former wife, Gisele Bündchen. Others highlighted his height—seemingly taller than Brady himself—and even predicted a modeling career, calling him “America’s next top model.”

Actor Donnie Wahlberg also joined the chorus of admirers, calling Jack “the coolest kid ever.”

When Jack turned 17 in August 2024, Brady marked the milestone with a heartfelt Instagram tribute: “You are truly a blessing in my life, and I am so grateful to watch you mature into a young man.”

As Jack continues to grow into his own spotlight, fans remain captivated by his presence—and are eager to see where his journey leads.
