Videos show raid of underground nightclub where over 100 immigrants were detained

In a significant federal operation, over 100 individuals suspected of being in the U.S. illegally were detained during a raid on an illegal after-hours nightclub in Colorado Springs. The raid, conducted by more than 300 law enforcement officers from multiple agencies, targeted a venue under investigation for alleged drug trafficking, prostitution, and violent crimes. New York Post

The nightclub, frequented by members of the MS-13 gang, was found to be a hub for illicit activities, including the distribution of cocaine and a synthetic drug known as “tusi.” Authorities also seized an unspecified number of firearms during the operation.

Among those detained were over a dozen active-duty military personnel, some of whom were allegedly working as armed security at the club. Additionally, individuals with outstanding warrants were apprehended.

Videos released by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) show agents announcing their presence and ordering patrons to exit the building with their hands up. Some footage captures individuals attempting to flee as agents enter the premises.

The operation aligns with President Donald Trump’s intensified immigration enforcement campaign, which has included aggressive tactics and legal challenges. Attorney General Pamela Bondi praised the raid as a success in enhancing community safety.

The building owner claimed to be unaware of the illegal activities, stating that the venue is typically rented for legitimate events. Local officials, including Colorado Springs’ mayor, supported the enforcement action, citing the need for law and order. The Guardian
